He is survived by: his spouse Gail Yarbrough Higley; his sons, Ty Whittaker (Dianne) and Torin Whittaker (Kelli); his grandchildren, Riley Whittaker, Maggie Whittaker, Lia Whittaker, Cait Whittaker and Garrett Kilgore; his siblings, Russell Higley and Candace Kittleson (Gary); and his nieces, Kimberly Johnson and Jennifer Sutton.
