He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Curtis Lackey and Cleta Hoover Lackey; his sister Mildred Wright; and his son-in-law Keith Murrow. He is survived by: his wife Jerri Bruton Lackey; his children, Mark Lackey (Carol) of High Point, Scott Lackey (Lisa) of High Point and Molly Murrow of High Point; his sister Marie Cranford (Gary) of Asheboro; his grandchildren, Alex Lackey-Johnson (James), Smith Lackey, Tatum Murrow, Walker Lackey, Emily Lackey and Lily Murrow; and his great grandchildren, Ava, Snow and Winter.
