He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Hatton Adkins and Martha Winston Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Sara Janaske Adkins; his daughters, Elizabeth Flowers (Michael) of Charlotte, Mollie Cooke (Cameron) of Charlotte and Rebecca Adkins of Charlotte; and his siblings, Tommy Adkins (Jeffri) of Charlottesville, Betsy Smith (Jeff) of High Point and Martha Gardner Barrier (Randy) of High Point. He is also survived by his family, friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Mary's Episcopal Church (108 W Farriss Ave, High Point, NC 27262). Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
