He was predeceased by: his parents, Chess Harris and Gertrude Hester Harris; and his wife Marilyn Ganus Harris. He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Cox (James), Vicki Everhart (Rocky), Mary Ann Long (Dale) and Paula Tune (David); and his siblings, Steve Landreth, Robert Landreth, Danny Ray Landreth, Ronnie Landreth and Mary Sue Hair. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
