She was predeceased by: her parent Della Hamlin; her husband Velvet LeGrande; and her children, Patricia Murphy and Velvet LeGrande, Jr. (Lanell LeGrande). She is survived by: her daughter Mona Moore; and her children-in-law, Rudolph Murphy and Jeanette LeGrande. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
