He was predeceased by: his brother Donald Wayne Austin; and his son John Sidney "Sid" Austin. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Kirkman Austin; and his siblings, Teresa Baker and Mark Austin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
