He was predeceased by: his parents, James Eugene Edwards Sr. and Pearl Margaret Hobson Edwards; and his siblings, Denise Edwards, Julius Kevin Edwards and Nathan Dwight Edwards.
He is survived by: his son Nathan "Foot"; his brothers, Terry Edwards, Larry Edwards, Alvin Edwards (Cornelia) and Dale Edwards; and his grandchildren, Jamaal Pate, Jakobi Gaddy, Kendrick, Quentin Simmons, Shyquel, George Jr., Elijah Allison, Myracle Edwards, Queen, King, Naiomi, Reilly, Nataisia, Chassidy, Zayden Wilson, Nate Green, Naquan Little and Travion Ezekiel.
