It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Hubert Lewis (High Point, North Carolina), who passed away on September 26, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Addison and Katie Benton Lewis; his son Ricky Dean Lewis; and his siblings, Stacy B. Lewis, Bobby Lewis, Elizabeth Knight, Eloise Naylor and Doris Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Knight Lewis; his children, James Rodney Lewis (Teresa) of Sophia, Ernest Steven Lewis (Kim) of Sophia and Kathryn "Kathy" Lewis Hawkins (Tony) of Franklin; and his sister Ellene Maske of Summerfield. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
