He is survived by: his children, Felicia Owens-Nelson (Robert) of Princeton, NJ, Cavin Townsend of Winston Salem, NC and Donavan Townsend of Greensboro, NC; his grandchildren, Chrisshea Owens of Winston Salem, NC, Syqwane Owens (Victoria) of Fort Mill, SC, Antonio Owens of Fort Mill, SC, Brayden Townsend of Kernersville, NC, Constance Townsend of Winston Salem, NC, Ethan, Elijah and Elliott Townsend of Greensboro, NC; his great grandchildren, Santana, Seilah and Snow Owens of Fort Mill, SC; his siblings, Shirley Townsend, Kathy Williams, Sheryl (Fabian Crowell), Tinesha McCrary (Marcus), Lewis, Laddie, Luther, Melvin and Tommy Townsend; and his close friends, Rose and Teresa. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts.
