He is survived by: his wife Jean Butler Peters; his sister Nancy McGee (Ken); his niece Christy McGee; his children, Carol Peters and Scott Peters (Amy); his grandchildren, Ashley Matney (Nate), Luke Matney (Shannon), Avery Peters and Rylee Peters; his great grandchildren, Issac, Lily and Andrea (Andie); his stepchildren, Lynn Alexander (Reggie) and Janet Lashley (Ed); and his stepgrandchildren, Zachary, Gabrielle, Juliet and Jillian. He is also survived by father to his two children and a loving grandfather to his four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
