He is survived by: his girlfriend Barbara Losardo; his children, Carla Stine (Tyrone Fate), Alman Coleman (Catie), Ronald Cornelius Tyson (Judy), Troy Lapez Tyson, Gary Losardo (Shanon) and Joseph Stine; his siblings, Annie Tyson Jett (James) and Jasper L. Tyson, Jr.; his sister-in-law Deloris Tyson; his former wife Margaret Ann Black Tyson; and his close friend Lisa Stine. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
