He is survived by: his wife Shelby Edwards Powers; his children, Lee Olvey (Alica) of Thomasville, Jay Moore (Somer) of Lexington and Angel Olvey; his sisters, Sue May of Greensboro, Joy Wilson (Cheese) of Level Cross and Donna Robertson of Kernersville; his grandchildren, Layla Moore, Madison Olvey, Hayden Moore and Caleb Olvey; and his close friends, Regina Harris and April Browning.
