It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerri Deanne Johnson (High Point, North Carolina), born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on September 28, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Allene Curtis Johnson Turner; her sisters, Gloria Smith, Kathy Ray, Cynthia Clinton and Beverly Johnson; her grandparents, Elizabeth, Steve Curtis, Inez and Boysie Johnson; her niece Ericka Johnson; her great-niece A'Deja Johnson; her nephew Brady Watts III; and her brothers-in-law, Willie Ray and Kenny Clinton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lachiesha Wilson (Clay) of High Point, LaDonna Lucas (Richard) of High Point, NC and Courtney Gray; her grandchildren, Kelvin Short (Tanya) of High Point, Brentez Gray of Maryland, Tanazia Johnson, Infinity Perry, Tyasia Wilson, Kalyria Short Kayla Short, Kayonia Short, Deontre Johnson Douglas Short and I'Sean Macer; her great grandchildren, Jace Murph and Daylan Johnson; her siblings, Margaret Rogers (James) and Anthony Johnson (Rose) of High Point; her close friend Neal Jackson III; her sons-in-law, Clay Wilson and Richard Lucas; and her nieces, Tawanna Johnson and Shavonna Ray.
