He was predeceased by: his parents, Euclid Soles and Edith Iona Cox Soles; and his brother Charlie Soles. He is survived by: his wife Jill Harris Soles; his children, Bo Soles (Jamie) of Mrytle Beach, SC, Blake Harris (Brooke Ashby) of High Point and Tisha Soles (Ernest McClellan) of Georgetown, SC; his sister Judy Martin; his grandchildren, Mary Beth Soles, Jameson Soles, Addison Soles and Chloe Soles; his nieces and nephews, Jessie, Chris and Micki; and his aunt Ester.
