It is with sadness that the passing of Joann Tedder of High Point, North Carolina is shared. Joann, born on May 13, 1940, passed away on September 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Joann will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezra Norman and Mattie Rae Moore Vernon; and her husband Max Spencer Tedder. She is survived by: her children, Nadine Tedder Townsend (Thomas Townsend) of High Point, Max Spencer Tedder, Jr. of Greensboro and David Alan Tedder (Amy) of Southport; and her sister Becky Vernon Gibson. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel (6000 W Gate City Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27407). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
