He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Parsley and Anita Parsley; his wife Tanita Brown Parsley; his son Glenn Paul Parsley; and his siblings, Kayo Parsley, Paul Ray Parsley, Judy Hayes, Sandra Hix and Susie Light.
He is survived by: his son John Elbert Parsley (Jennifer) of Linwood; his siblings, Dee Lybrand of High Point and Mark Parsley of Columbus, GA; and his grandchildren, Saige, Maguire, Gannon and Kerrigan Parsley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
