He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Williams and Aimee Gibson Williams; his siblings, Luther Williams, Annie B. Glover, R. C. Williams, Freddie Williams, Theo Williams, Theodore Williams, Annie Kate McClain, Clevester Williams, Geneva Brown and Savannah Williams Kollock; and his niece Sharon W. Castro.
He is survived by: his niece Vivian Kelly; his nephews, Preston Brown and Theodore Glover; his wife Louise Williams of High Point, NC; his son Richard Pergues; his sister Minnie McInnis of Greensboro, NC; and his stepgrandson Nicholas Robinson of High Point, NC. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and faithful friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the New Zion AME Church (3136 Heustess Rd, Clio, SC 29525). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
