He is survived by: his children, Johnny Ray Ellis, Jr., Pamela Outlaw of High Point, Cynthia Wishon (Dale) of Jamestown and Laura Johnson of Sophia; his siblings, Linda Calloway of Dunn and Donald Ellis of Dunn; his granddaughters, Heather Richardson (Bryan) and Michelle Outlaw-Lohr (Josua); and his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Corey, Aiden, Atlas, Izla and Charity.
