She was predeceased by: her parents, Fuller Covington and Clara Wall Patterson; her husband Robert Lee McDonald; her grandson Robert Hunter; and her siblings, Larry Patterson, Johnnie Patterson, Fuller Covington, Jr., Emma Ingram and Evelyn Collins.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Hunter, Linda Roberts, Kaytrell Yarborough (Brian), Felisa Peguese (Kevin), Wanda Bridges, Dannie McDonald and Lynwood McDonald; and her siblings, Lucy Roberts, Carrie Bell Allen, William Patterson and Daryl Patterson. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
