It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joretta Lockhart Lewis of High Point, North Carolina, born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on November 29, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Lockhart and Zula Lockhart; her husband Robert Edwin Lewis; and her son Robert Keith Lewis. She is survived by: her sons, Larry Lewis of Trinity, Ronald Lewis (Sachiko) of Snohomish, Jerry Lewis (Louise) of Kernersville, Michael Lewis (Rhonda) of High Point and Danny Lewis (Betty) of Cape Coral, Florida. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
