He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Leonard and Elouise Cooper Leonard. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Holmes Leonard; his children, Michelle Smith (Tim Williard) and Bruce Leonard (Rita); his siblings, Carl "Bud" Leonard, Marie Leonard and Sharon Leonard; his grandchildren, Matthew Leonard, Danielle Weatherman (Neal Dorsett), Holden Smith and Chase Smith; and his great grandchild Ella Dorsett.
