It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph M. Canoy Sr. (High Point, North Carolina), who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Devie Canoy and Winnifred Spencer Canoy; and his siblings, Shelby Canoy, Lily Bea Baker, Junior Canoy, Troy Canoy, Norma Pierce, Neelie Leonard, Lloyd Canoy, Jimmy Canoy and Jerry Canoy.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Nichols Canoy; his children, Lu Ann Powell (Chuck), Matt Canoy, Jr. (Lynn) and Kelly Canoy; his grandchildren, Morgan McFetters (Nathan), Jordan Hedrick (Jeremy), Matt Canoy (Amanda), Chuck Powell (Brandi), Hannah Dillon (Myles) and Bristol Skinner; his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Aubrey, Hudsyn, Case, Matlyn, Ryan, Coy, Finleigh and Presley; and his great great grandchild Rhyatt. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
