He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Yow and Iva Yow; and his sister Sharron Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Sarah; his son Joey Yow; his daughter-in-law Heather Cotariu; his grandchildren, Marlowe, Jasper and Iris Cotariu; his sisters, Teresa Richardson, Mary Ann Yow and Carolyn Collins; and his brother-in-law Randy Collins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Second Harvest Food Bank.
