She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Gardner and Rosa Beck Gardner Cox; and her husband Eugene Rickard. She is survived by: her siblings, Joyce Tucker of Chesnee, Yvonne Turner of Chesnee, Linda Gibson of Archdale, Cheryl Berry (Steve) of Archdale, Phyllis Workman (Dallas) of Asheboro, Gary Cox (Carolyn) of Sophia, Barry Cox of Trinity and George Cox (Peggy) of Trinity; and her uncle Jimmy Beck (Colleen) of Thomasville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
