Karen (Pulliam) Mickey Obituary
Karen Elizabeth Pulliam Mickey, age 58, wife of Charles Alexander Mickey, Jr., passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022.
Born in Asheville, she was a daughter of the late Edwin Thomas Pulliam and Doris Elizabeth Brown Pulliam. Mrs. Mickey was a homemaker and was a collector.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Mickey is survived by a stepson, Charlie Mickey (wife Jennifer); a stepdaughter, Jennifer Mickey; three step-grandchildren, Addison, Ada and Reagan; two brothers, Winston Pulliam (wife Zara) and Edwin Pulliam; many nieces and nephews; and many friends and neighbors in Asheville and Mt. Airy. Included in these friends and neighbors are Teddy Ray and Mildred Trivette, to whom the family would especially like to express gratitude for their kindness and assistance.
