It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen Philbin (High Point, North Carolina), born in Brantford, Ontario, who passed away on May 15, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard William Philbin; her parents, Thomas Noel Stainback and Betty Hill Anderson; her sister Pat Stainback; and her great grandchild Benson Royce Jones.

She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Philbin Dehart (Gene) and Bill Philbin (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Shelby Sloan Fowler (Marcus Jones), Colin Rayce Fowler, Corbin Miles Fowler, Madison Grayce Dehart, Callie Philbin, Taylor Philbin and Cole Philbin; her great grandchild Khizzie Joelle Jones; and her close friend Pam Houck.
