As Katie departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Katie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Katie leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Caudle and Elsie Ray Caudle; her husband Tom; her children, David Jones and Janet Lang; and her brother J. E. Caudle.

She is survived by: her children, Kristina Loggins, Sandra Summers, Phillip Madison (Teresa), Craig Madison (Libby) and Jo Ann Newnam (Robbin). She is also survived by 16 Grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, August 17th 2024 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the Landmark Baptist Church (6055 Sunset View Dr, Archdale, NC 27263). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
