He was predeceased by: his father Garland Hunter Jones, Sr.; his son Thomas Garland Jones; and his siblings, Garland Hunter Jones, Jr. and Betty Warren. He is survived by: his wife Martha Florence Jones of River Landing; and his brother Ray Jones (Billie) of Charlotte. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
