With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lamar Doutaz (High Point, North Carolina), born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 20, 2019 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Doutaz and Mamie Cleo Gentry Doutaz; and his brother Charles. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Keith Doutaz (Susan) of Cumby, TX and Karol Seman (Timothy) of High Point, NC; his grandchildren, Heather Manning (Michael), Matt Venable (Carmen), Jeffrey Doutaz (Jeanette) and Angela Seman; his great grandchildren, Ashley Doutaz, Tylar Manning (Bethany), Kyle Manning, Emily Manning, Matthew Seman, Amber Flores (Jesus), Ryan Venable, Korey Doutaz, Samantha Venable, Sarah Nance, Kameron Douglas and Kalab Douglas; and his great great grandchild Vienna Flores.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262.

“Lamar was such a kind sweet soul and always had a kind word to say about everyone. Being from a small farming community he was a hard worker and provided for his family with sweat and hard work. He served his country and made many friends during his service and remembered those times and friends fondly. Lamar I am sure is in heaven in the company of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My deepest sympathy for family.”
