It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Childress of High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Morrison Childress and Lottie Mae Hepler Childress; and his brothers, Steve Childress and Jerry Childress. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Anderson Childress; his children, Jennifer Henderson (John) and Jason Childress (Candice); his sisters, Linda Fearrington (Dale) and Kathy Transou (Joe); his sister-in-law Judy Childress; and his grandsons, Connor Childress, Alex Henderson and Nathan Henderson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
