With sadness, we share the passing of Larry Eugene Diggs (High Point, North Carolina). Larry, born on October 16, 1952, passed away on October 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Diggs and Clara Diggs; his brothers, Charles, James, Melvin and Lester Diggs; and his spouse Elvenia Diggs.
He is survived by: his stepson Michael Harris (Regetta); his grandchildren, Nadiyah of Kernersville, NC, Elijay of Kernersville, NC and Aniya of Kernersville, NC; his sisters, Patricia Smith, Bertha Lilly of High Point, NC and Selena Barr of Greensboro, NC; his sister-in-law Teresa Bennett of High Point, NC; and his niece Rene Littlejohn of Greensboro, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM and on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Word of Life Tabernacle Church (1801 Deep River Rd, High Point, NC 27265). A burial was held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM.
