With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence Eugene Brown in High Point, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 18, 2026 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, B. J. Brown and Rachel Bollinger Brown; and his sisters, Sibyl Joan Jones of Eden, Bettie Lou Brown of High Point and Rebecca Anne Brown "Becky" of High Point.
He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Brown (Christinia "Christie") and Christine Brown Slater; his grandchildren, Caleigh Brown, Colton Brown and Vincent Slater; his niece Ashley Jones Gillespie; his nephew Mike Jones; Steven Slater.
Memorials made in his honor may be made to any local animal rescue organization or to Hospice of Alamance County.
