He is survived by: his wife Lynn Allred Kitchin; his children, Heather Abshire (Billy), Samuel Kitchin (Trista), Dustin Ellis (Colleen) and Zackery Kitchin (Alexis Oxendine); his stepdaughters, Nicole Barney (Terry), Katrina Cockrane (Jamaal) and Mary Kemison; his grandchildren, Brayden Ellis, Abel Ellis, Jayse Ellis and Lennox Ellis; his stepgrandchildren, Heather Jimenez, Isiah Jimenez, Xi'Kizzia Currie and Ty'Quis Whitaker; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Isabella and Kha'Loni; his siblings, Joe Kitchin (Sharon), Wallace Kitchin, Mary Kitchin, Ann Gilbreth and Ruby Kitchin; and his nephew Michael Kitchin (Rachel).
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations (1726 Westchester Dr, High Point, NC 27262).
