She is survived by: her mother Bernice Threadgill Pemberton; her daughters, Tacoya (Frank) of High Point, NC and Semone Pemberton of High Point, NC; her siblings, Vanessa Medley of High Point, NC, Claudia Johnson (Grady) of High Point, NC and William Mathis (Robin) of Charleston, SC; her granddaughters, Imani Pemberton of High Poin, Asani Smith of High Poin and Zariah Hicklin of High Poin; and her great grandchild Derrick Welch Jr. of High Point, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
