He is survived by: his wife Judy Harris Nicks; his stepson Jerry Earnhardt (Nancy); his daughters, Sharon Small (Ken) and Tracey Adams (Jeff); his grandchildren, Mayah Small, Lauren Crudas and Blake Ballard; his sisters, Toni Hoppe (Ed) and Ruby Pennington (Tim); his niece Heather Lasley (Brian); his nephew Matthew Garrison; and his great-nephews, Zachary Lasley and Brett Garrison (Ashley).
