It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maggie Bell Gant (High Point, North Carolina), born in Mebane, North Carolina, who passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jayvey Gant and Anna Warren Gant; and her siblings, Thomas Gant, Larry Gant, Louise Pitts and Carolyn F. Ashworth.
She is survived by: her sons, John Pettway of Burlington, NC and Jerry Gant of Greensboro, NC; her granddaughter Erica Mebane; her great grandchildren, Terrell Parker, Zamari Wardlaw and Zacari Wardlaw; her sister Gail White; and her close friends, Anita, Sharee Smith and Jonica Martin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
