He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Bill Paine and Mildred Black Paine. He is survived by: his wife Janet Bunch Paine; his children, Ellen Paine and David Paine (Amy); and his grandchildren, Ellena Paine, Benjamin, Eli and Gideon Paine.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM at the Westchester Baptist Church (135 Westchester Dr, High Point, NC 27262). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Monticello Memory Gardens (670 Thomas Jefferson Pkwy, Charlottesville, VA 22902).
Memorials should be directed to Baptists on Mission-Disaster Relief.
