She was predeceased by: her parents, Aros Coke Cecil and Nannie Louise Bowman Cecil; and her husband J. Woody Brinson. She is survived by: her children, Nan Brinson Edwards and Jesse Cecil Brinson (Nancetta); her stepgrandson Robert L. Still; her stepgreat-grandson Robert "RJ" Still; her sibling's children, Mills Brinson, Robert A. Brinson, Meb Brinson Wentz and Sallie Brinson Cunningham; and her goddaughter Janet Roper Hamernick.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the First United Methodist Church (512 N Main St, High Point, NC 27260).
Memorials should be directed to First United Methodist Church, Hospice of the Piedmont or the Hayworth Cancer Center.
