She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter G. Mitchell and Cletie T. Mitchell; and her brothers, Lloyd Thomas Mitchell, Wade Amelius Mitchell and Walter Hemric Mitchell.

She is survived by: her sibling's children, Terry Grey Mitchell, Lloyd Thomas Mitchell, Jr. and Pamela Mitchell Delappe of High Point.
