She is survived by: her sons, Morris Scott and Jimmy Scott; her grandson Marcus Scott; her daughters, Patricia Diggs of High Point and Velda Scott of Jacksonville, Fla.; her siblings, Jesse Cotton of High Point, NC, Tim Cotton of Castle Hayne, NC, Linair Cotton of San Antonio, TX, William Cotton of Decatur, GA, Donald Cotton (Johnette) of Colbert, GA, Lula Cox of Decatur, GA and Havanah Bailey of Atlanta, GA.; and her sister-in-law Maggie Scott. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Williams Memorial Cathedral Cme Church (3400 Triangle Lake Rd, High Point, NC 27260). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
