She was predeceased by : her parents, Oliver B. Page and Mary McDuffie Jessup Page; her spouse Edger Jackson Venable; and her brothers, Jack of Bob, O. B. and Percy.

She is survived by : her children, Mary Ellen Wilkerson (Reid) of Waxhaw, Linda Venable (Felix Moreno) of Asheville, Alan Venable (Delese) of Kernersville and Mark Venable (Jill) of Boone; her grandchildren, Forrest Wilkerson of Waxhaw, David Wilkerson (Kristie) of Walla Walla, Joey Venable (Kayla) of Winston-Salem, Scott Venable (Abby) of Winterville, Annie Venable of Arvada and Matthew Venable (Ria) of Sandy, Utah; and her great grandchildren, Jackson and Karsyn.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Cumby Family Funeral Service - High Point (1015 Eastchester Dr, High Point, NC 27262). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Floral Garden Park Cemetery (1730 W English Rd, High Point, NC 27262).
