With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maurice C. Whittington Sr. (High Point, North Carolina), who passed away on December 18, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gurney Whittington and Winnie Waters Whittington; and his brother Kenneth Whittington. He is survived by: his wife Mitzi Roberts Whittington; his daughter Pamela Whittington; his grandchild Parker; his sons, Cliff Whittington (Deborah) of Florida and Rob Whittington (Misty) of Archdale; his brothers, Reverend James Whittington (Shirley) of Hickory and Charles Whittington (Tonja) of Florida; and his grandchildren, Zachary Whittington, Tyler Whittington, Chase Whittington, Jacob Whittington, Madison Whittington and Michelle Landstreet. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and sisters and brothers in law that considered him a brother.
