He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wray McMichael Amos and Ellen Groome Amos; his wife Madeline Allen Amos; his children, Ellen Amos Travaglini (Alex Travaglini) of Greenville, SC, Wray McMichael "Mike" Amos, III of Greensboro and James Bruton Allen "JB" Amos (Jamie) of Raleigh; his sisters, Leslie Helms (Ken) of Salisbury and Julie Amos of Durham; and his pet Beau. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
