We are sad to announce that on July 25, 2021, at the age of 63, Michael Smith (High Point, North Carolina), born in Kinston, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Evelyn Smith; and his brother Kent. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Parker; his sons, Adam Michael (Kimi) of Raleigh and Mark Nicholas "Nick" (Brittany) of Garner; his siblings, Cathy Bogan (Bob) of Reidsville, William "Bill" (Phyllis) of Greensboro and Jeffrey (Kim) of Midland; his grandchildren, Silas Naoto, Keilah Emiko, Miriam Ayumi of Raleigh, Amelia Caroline, Josiah Paul and Solomon Michael of Garner; and his sister-in-law Sonya Parker Sauls of Edgewater, MD. He is also survived by his wife and was an active father to his sons.

Memorial contributions may be made to Green Street Baptist Church, Alzheimer's Association, or AuthoraCare Hospice of Greensboro.
