He was predeceased by: his father Lee Roy Transeau; his wife Helen Transeau; and his siblings, Jesse Lee Transeau, Roger Transeau, David Transeau, Jeanette Kennedy and Rebecca Scott.

He is survived by: his mother Imogene Brown Transeau Pruitt; his stepfather Claude Pruitt; his siblings, Susan Carroza (Mark) and Edwin Transeau; and his niece Brianna Carroza. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
