He is survived by: his children, Darius Ledbetter, Alyssa Manning of High Point, NC, Mary Alexander (Dan) of Greensboro, NC and Maria Nwabueze (Terry) of Winston Salem, NC; his grandchildren, Macaiah, Tavion, Tyger, Mahagony, Michael, Darius Jr., Legend, Aaleyia, Aniya, Malaia and Zion; his aunt Rosa Wilkes of High Point, NC; his uncles, Raymond Wilkes of High Point, NC, Lane Wilkes of High Point, NC, Leon "Peaches" Wilkes of High Point, NC and James Alfro of Greensboro, NC; his siblings, Pam Wilkes and Anthony Wilkes of High Point, NC; and his friends, Tracy Barnes and Najhi Allen-Skeen. He is also survived by cousins, relatives, former coworkers and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at the Chapel of Johnson and Sons Funeral Home (206 4th St, High Point, NC 27260).
