He was predeceased by: his mother Clara Bell Cartrette. He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Young and Brenda Zimmerman; his grandchildren, Brittany Crabtree (Bradley) and Matt Young (Haley); his great grandchild Remington "Peaches" Young; his brothers, Eddie Hathaway and Luckey Hathaway; and his cousin Alice Porter.
