He is survived by: his children, Jill Newton of High Point, Mitch Newton of High Point, James "Jay" Newton of Millers Creek, Julie Kennedy (Donald) of High Point and Lisa Bacque of Houston, Texas; his siblings, Jerry Newton (Robin) of High Point, Faye Braud of Melbourne and Jenny Newton of High Point; his grandchildren, Cortnei Coulman (Nathan) of High Point, Chelsea Newton of High Point, Michael Kennedy (Ashley) of Lexington, Anna Kennedy of Boone and Rebekah Kennedy of High Point; his great grandchildren, Remington Coulman, Stetson Coulman, Swade Coulman, Saylor Long and Carmen Rose; and the mother of his children Robin Newton of Millers Creek. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Cumby Family Funeral Service - High Point (1015 Eastchester Dr, High Point, NC 27262). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
