We are sad to announce that on December 13, 2022, at the age of 89, Myrtle Jean Slate Cecil of High Point, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Myrtle Jean Slate Cecil to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Andrew Slate and Girlie Norman Slate; and her husband Everett Jacob Cecil. She is survived by: her children, Danny Cecil (Debbie), Barry Cecil and Phyllis Hilton (Gary). She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two twin great-great granddaughters; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Graybrier Nursing & Retirement Center, 116 Lane Dr. Trinity, NC 27370.
