She was predeceased by : her parents, William Carl Turnage and Lee Hancock Turnage; her husband James Walter Hinson; and her brothers, Bill Turnage, Thomas Lee Turnage and David Turnage.

She is survived by : her sons, Eddie Hinson, James Hinson and Gregory Hinson; her granddaughter Elizabeth Nicole Hanks (David); and her sister Sylvia Turnage Hines.
